Licensed Nursing Home Administrator Get paid the next day with DAILY PAY!! 

As Nursing Home Administrator, you will be responsible for the overall operations, leadership, management and success of the facility in accordance with resident/employee needs, government regulations, and company policy. Responsible for financial management, quality assurance, regulatory management, business development goals and maximization of revenue, family relations, and resident care. In addition, responsible for attracting and retaining top performing talented team members as well as the supervision and career coaching of existing team members on staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop or expand programs or services for medical and vocational rehabilitation, and community health and welfare promotion.
  • Negotiate for improvement of and additions to facility buildings and equipment.
  • Direct and coordinate medical, nursing and administrative staffs and services.
  • Implement and communicate policies and procedures for various departments.
  • Conduct regular rounds to monitor delivery of nursing care and operation of support departments.
  • Conduct regular rounds to monitor cleanliness and appearance of facility, and to ensure that resident’s needs are being addressed.
  • Ensure consultants and other support resources are appropriately utilized.
  • Administer fiscal operations such as budget planning, accounting, and financial review.
  • Ensure facility works within planned budget.
  • Direct hiring and training of personnel.
  • Ensure compliance of employment laws.
  • Oversee implementation of QAPI standards, facility investigations and reportable.
  • Represent establishment at community meetings and promotes programs through various news media.
  • Maintain a working knowledge and ensure compliance with all governmental regulations.
  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy for the facility.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage exempt and non-exempt personnel who supervise the team members with the facility. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of all team members. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements

o perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must meet all local health regulations and pass post-employment physical exam if required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Successfully completed at least 64 college credit hours AND 2 years of supervisory experience in long term care.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven history of successful surveys and customer satisfaction.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Active licensed nursing home administrator in good standing.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outgoing and energetic personality.
  • Ability to multi-task while being detail-oriented.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Experience with MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
