AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

Job Duties:

• Examine, diagnose, and discuss the damage/malfunction of the vehicle with the Shop Foreman/Service Advisor for communication to the customer
• Plan technician work procedure in cooperation with the Shop Foreman
• Provide labor time estimates to the Service Advisor
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership technician policy on client vehicle care and operation
• Complete story or documentation for client repairs
• Assists Technician Trainees

Job Requirements:

• Basic automotive knowledge/experience required. Pay is based on experience
• General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
• Valid driver license with a good driving record
• Certifications, Licenses, and registrations required
• Flexible schedule
• Wear approved safety glasses when in designated safety area. Keep work area clean and tidy
