A Day in the Life 

The marketing assistant works directly with our lead marketing attorney and our marketing teams to promote our brand and let other law firms and potential clients know who we are and what we do. A lot of our business comes from other lawyers, so the biggest part of the job entails working with our attorneys to maintain a list of existing and potential referral partners and scheduling outreach to those partners so we can maintain relationships. The marketing assistant will also oversee our client and attorney newsletter and correspondence lists and help send out newsletters, birthday and holiday cards, and gifts. While we have marketing companies who manage our website and social media, the marketing assistant will have opportunities to curate and post content for our social media accounts. Finally, we frequently hold firm marketing events and the marketing assistant will help to plan and schedule those events. There is a potential for travel to our Reno office and to networking events, and to go out in the community to assist in building and maintaining relationships with our referral partners.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• We're looking for excellence and will train. Prior law firm experience, or experience as an assistant is not required.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

• Office setting

Must be able to remain in a stationary position and constantly operate a computer and other office machines, such as a telephone, copy machine, and office equipment. This position requires the ability to occasionally move about to access file cabinets and lift files. Must be able to identify and assess information on computer screens, written reports and documentation and relay to team and/or clients. Must be able to occasionally move and lift office equipment and materials up to 25 pounds. May require bending and reaching in areas from floor level to six feet high. Requires pushing and pulling file cabinet drawers. Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols and eye/hand coordination. Work is performed in an office environment behind a desk where the noise level is usually low.
