JOB SUMMARY

Our product line-up TIM Solution (NOVUS) consist of Urethane, Silicone and Epoxy. We connect chemistry to life and realize chemical technology for Human advancement in the world. Our new plant in Macon, Georgia is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee the plant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Knowledge of program management practices and procedures to resolve problems of major significance.

Ability to lead and coordinate activities related to meetings.

· Skill in oral communication to promote acceptance of policies, procedures, and directives, and provide briefings to management on specific issues, requirements, and policy.

· Skill in written communication to respond to or evaluate policy or regulatory documents.

· Knowledge of environmental statutes, agency programs, policies, and procedures.

· Knowledge of enforcement operations sufficient to lead analysis projects and to act as a spokesperson.

· Skill in analyzing and evaluating data from complex and manual information management systems to perform a variety of activities, as well as skill in computer-based research in or to gather needed information.

· Ability to develop and interpret guidelines, policies, methods and to formulate decisions regarding necessary actions.

· Knowledge of webpage Content Development and/or maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS

· A bachelor’s degree in Environment Protection or related field is preferred but will substitute for at least (3) years working in manufacturing.

· Licensing in ISO, OHSAS, OSHA, CSP, CPR EHS, CIH, ASP, AED preferred

· At least (3) years’ experience in Environmental Protection or in a similar role

· Knowledge of legislation and procedures

· Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices

· At least (2) years of experience in producing reports

· Experience with writing policies and techniques for environmental safety

· Proficiency of conducting data analysis and reporting statistics

· Helping knowledge of environmental information system

· Excellent organizational skills

· Critical thinking skills and team player

· Good time management and interpersonal skills

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

· Environmental Protection: Preparing and sending to the authorities the data services required by the applicable environmental protection legislation (HIR, KAR, LM, LAL) by the deadline.

· Licensing and control of air pollution point sources.

· Management of the data and document records (waste, VOC, solvent material balance, waste material balance required by the applicable laws related to environmental protection.

· Participation in procedures and on-site inspections/inspections initiated by the authorities,

· Attendance in the organization and implementation of the measurement of environmental emissions (surface-underground water, soil, air, noise)

· Holding environmental education.

· Preparation of waste collection regulations.

· Regular inspection of the placement and existence of environmental protection labels/signs,

· Checking the site’s environmental protection status at regular intervals (monthly, quarterly). Preparation of an action plan and report for management.

· Monitoring of environmental legislation.

· Preparation of basic waste characterization protocols.

· Coordination and control of climate protection tasks (cooling equipment, air conditioners).

· Introduction, auditing and maintenance of ISO 14001.

· Carrying out and documenting preliminary assessment (EVD0, environmental impact assessment,

· Maintain water rights permit.

· Preparation of environmental review documentation for management.

· Hours of work may vary depending on business needs, flexibility is required.

Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year
