Summary: The Automation Engineer’s key accountability is the planning, development, design, and coordination of advanced manufacturing practices. Qualification requirements:

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, Information Technology, PLC and Database Management.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering discipline; preferably manufacturing, mechanical, electrical or industrial. Preferred experience at least two years in Automation, Controls, and Manufacturing. Working knowledge of manufacturing and quality improvement methods including LEAN Manufacturing concepts. Advanced Diploma of Industrial Automation or Advanced Diploma of Remote Engineering, Mechatronics and Robotics a plus. Work Key Scores required.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and create engineering specifications. Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and visitors.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to interpret graphs. Ability to read and interpret scales.
