Come join Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in Bridgeport as a Structural Engineer in the Structural Engineering Group. We have a great, high energy, multidisciplined office that is conveniently located just off of interstate 79 and within walking distance of multiple restaurants. In addition, we offer a flexible hybrid work schedule of 2 days work-from-home or 1 day off every other week. As a Structural Engineer for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you'll develop calculations, drawings, and specifications for various structures related to industrial, transportation and residential projects. Structures will include retaining walls, foundations, buildings, pipes and bridges. You'll perform structural analysis; assist with proposals and estimating the cost of engineering services; assist with structural assessment surveys and subsequent reporting; perform CAD drafting; and perform field assessments/inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred;
• 8 years' experience in structural design preferred;
• Strong technical background in structural engineering, and a working knowledge of standard structural analysis software, AutoCad, and Microsoft Word and Excel;
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
