ENGINEER II

SANTAQUIN CITY is accepting applications for a Full-time Engineering II. Duties included, but are not limited to, a wide variety of professional and technical duties related to Engineering, Public Works, and Community Development, such as reviewing development proposals for compliance with applicable city ordinances and standards and professional engineering standards and principles, providing GIS and drafting expertise related to new and existing city and private infrastructure, and under the direction of the City Engineer, designs for city projects related to streets, water, sewer, storm drain, pressurized irrigation, parks, retaining walls, small buildings, site plans and other engineering projects. Minimum qualifications and experience: bachelor's degree in civil engineering or appropriately related field and (5) five years of experience and use of AutoCAD software and Trimble GPS equipment; or an equivalent combination of education & experience. Must possess a valid Utah driver's license. Salary Range $31.28 to $45.43 per hour; starting wage depends on experience and qualifications. Position is eligible for benefits.
