The purpose of this position is to provide information security services in the operation of the City’s information security program. The ideal candidate will be a team player who has experience with large enterprise security programs including vulnerability management, security and event monitoring, threat evaluation, risk management, incident response and compliance activities. The engineer will be responsible for the leading the information security team, leading security operations, performing system architecture reviews, performing risk base analysis, leading security incident response, participating in DevSecOps processes and performing compliance related activities.
Specific duties include:
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work a hybrid/telework schedule within the Hampton Roads area.
