Lateral Police Officers

The City of Rochester now welcomes applications for lateral officers through our continuous hiring process. The training program may be condensed based upon prior law enforcement experience.

Starting rate of up to $35.42 an hour based on experience, current rate of pay, and other relevant factors.  In October of 2023, Officers will receive a bonus pay step!
