The Analyst works under general supervision will perform professional level duties in the Public Works department and perform other related duties such as providing information to the public through the website, public channels, and social media sites. The ideal candidate will be familiar with construction procurement, administration, and assessment district administration.
This position is accountable as a team member to perform administrative and support duties and services including but not limited to:
Performs various assignments and provides administrative staff support services
Compiles and analyzes various types of data required for resolutions, reports and surveys, and participates in their preparation
Participates in the preparation of specifications; Monitors activity reports
Provides information to and consults with the public
Maintains liaison with departments and other agencies
Participates in budget preparation and monitors budget expenditures
Researches and evaluates grants-in-aid funding sources and participates in the preparation of grant applications
Attends meetings and training sessions
Performs other related duties as assigned

The selection process may include but is not limited to: Application review and evaluation, written examination, performance test and interview. All employment offers made by the City are contingent upon establishing proof of a prospective candidate's legal authorization to work in the United States and successfully passing all components of the pre-employment process, such as: reference check, background investigation, fingerprint criminal history check, post-offer drug test, post-offer psychological and post-offer medical examination, the cost of which will be borne by the City.
