Salary: $60,545.49/annual minimum - $75,681.85/annual midpoint (Depending on qualifications)
Responsible for coordination and oversight of citywide grant programs and acting as liaison between the City of Mesquite and the respective granting agencies. This position is accountable for a variety of duties in the administration and implementation of the City’s Federal Grant programs including the review and interpretation of budget forms and other financial documents, program monitoring and reporting, contractor supervision, and to provide professional assistance to the City’s senior departmental staff.
SUPERVISION
General supervision is provided by the Manager of Budget & Treasury.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in public administration, finance, or closely related field.
EXPERIENCE
Three (3) years of experience in general grant administration, public administration, or closely related field
PREFERRED
Master’s degree in public administration, five years’ experience in Grants management or related area and two years of supervisory experience.
LICENSES
Possession of a valid driver’s license.
