CircleBlack is Hiring a Director of Marketing Near Jersey City, NJ

Position Summary:
We are looking for a data-driven, "player-coach" marketing leader with fintech experience who will partner with sales to generate pipeline, scale GTM efforts and drive demand to help support sales targets. This role reports to the CEO.
Responsibilities:
  • GTM Strategy - Lead the ongoing development and execution of our marketing strategy and go-to-market efforts, with an emphasis on driving new logos and ARR.
  • Pipeline Generation - Partner with leadership to deliver consistent pipeline contribution to support annual growth targets.
  • Demand Generation Functional Leadership - Lead the design and execution of demand generation programs, including PPC, ABM, thought-leadership, and events.
  • Data Ops & Reporting - Embrace a metrics-driven approach to tracking, assessing and interpreting pipeline results, including KPIs and reporting to measure performance.
  • Team - Grow, develop, and support the marketing team using a data-informed mindset to help them drive results while collaborating across the organization to establish processes that scale.
  • Budget & Financials - Manage and own the annual marketing budget, including developing a business case for the budget needed to support annual sales forecasts.
  • Marketing Communications - Own all brand and corporate communications that evolves with market trends or corporate goals.
Skills and Experience
  • Leadership Experience - 5 years of leadership experience is preferred. You've led a marketing team before or had direct reports and know how to empower your team to own and execute initiatives. You excel at coaching and developing your direct reports through ongoing feedback, 1-on-1s, and formal training.
  • Demand Generation Experience - 5 years experience in designing and executing B2B SaaS demand generation programs that deliver consistent results and enable bookings achievement. You've got experience managing and developing compelling PPC campaigns for a variety of audiences and buyer personas.
  • Analytical-Minded - You're an expert at tracking, analyzing and interpreting relevant pipeline metrics. You are always focused on connecting marketing efforts to business results, specifically revenue, and not just top-of-funnel vanity metrics.
  • Disciplined Execution - You never overlook the details and work backward from an objective to set and accomplish appropriate milestones. You hold your team accountable to established KPIs and are always looking to optimize your internal processes.
  • Results-Oriented - You always have your eye on the desired outcome. You have a track record of delivering results, and you see projects through to completion.
  • Excellent Communicator - You are articulate and have the ability to share relevant and concise narratives with leadership and internal teams. You're comfortable and confident at sharing updates about marketing results and direction with the rest of the company.
  • Tech Stack - Proficient user of all marketing tech. Including Pardot and Salesforce.
Other Qualifications/Experience:
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • 7 years of marketing experience
