EDUCATION:  High School diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE: 1 years telecommunications field services experience preferred

This role supports all CCR business units with all field services. This will include field installations, tower construction, DAS and fixed wireless system installation and maintenance. Specific tower construction and maintenance will be potentially up to 30% of current workload.

What You’ll Accomplish and Experience

• Ability to read work orders, blueprints, plans, datasheets or site drawings to determine work to be done
• Ability to operate hand tools and rented equipment and work within safety protocols
• Ability to install low voltage and network cabling
• Ability to qualify network cable runs (ethernet)
• Familiarity with physical installation of network equipment: Firewalls, patch panels, switches, access point etc.
• Ability to install equipment in the field (camera systems, access control hardware and wall mounted monitors and television systems)
• Perform maintenance or repair work on existing tower and field equipment, using hand or power tools 
• Inspect completed work to ensure all hardware is tight, antennas are level, hangers are properly fastened, proper support is in place, or adequate weather proofing has been installed 
• Ability to work at heights and climb towers when needed to assist tower crews
• Lift equipment into position, using cranes and rigging tools or equipment, such as gin poles 
• Ability to run appropriate power, ground, or coaxial cables 
• Ability to walk across building rooftops, noting structure geometry, sizes, and condition
• Complete reports related to project status, progress, or other work details, using computer software
• Act as company representative to clients 
• Assist with coordinating access and equipment rentals as needed
• Strong attention to quality, detail and safety guidelines 

Desirable Previous Experience

• Strong experience in installing, maintaining DAS and fixed wireless systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of data and wiring industry standards
• Basic networking skills
• Basic computer skills
• Working knowledge of RF industry standards preferred
• Competent Climber/Rescuer, OSHA 10, BP, RF, Competent or Basic Rigger, FA/CPR, etc.
• Comtrain Safety Certification is a plus
• Required : Must be in compliance with client guidelines and safety protocols to be able to perform work activities on client sites.
