Primary responsibilities and day-to-day

You will manage the full product development lifecycle for our suite of products.

  • Manage product strategy and roadmap
    • Work with customers, industry analysts, partners and more to develop market mastery
    • Map and maintain our competitive landscape; have a vision for where ChurnZero sits/should sit within the industry
    • Review and prioritize customer and prospect feedback
    • Synthesize these inputs into a roadmap that blends industry trends, business strategy, customer needs, and innovation/creativity; collaborate with leadership across the organization to ensure cohesive, integrated product portfolio
    • Be comfortable with – and excited by! – autonomy to choose the best path to deliver on our mission
  • Manage roadmap execution
    • Write detailed product specifications and user stories that allow for efficient development and prioritization
    • Create basic mockups and wireframes for product concepts. Partner with UX to flesh out these concepts into high fidelity mocks and prototypes.
    • Coordinate with designers, developers, and quality assurance to manage feature releases and backlog through planning, backlog grooming and review; champion a collaborative approach across Product, UX, Dev and QA
    • Manage conflicting priorities and drive results with creative solutions
    • Exemplify and promote the mentality of moving quickly and iterating often, always focused on getting solutions in front of customers for feedback and confirmation
  • Collaborate on successful go-to market strategy for new features and products
    • Launch and own beta programs for new products/features, ensuring their success in the market
    • Lead internal trainings to ensure all ChurnZero teams are competent and confident on product abilities
    • Develop product documentation, thought leadership, customer presentations and other content assets
  • Overall: Obsess over solving the most challenging problems our customers face. Maintain a fierce focus on developing a marketing-leading Customer Success solution.

Must have skills and experiences

  • 3-9 years of end-to-end product management experience with a SaaS product
  • A passion for customer-centric design and development
  • Experience using Jira, Asana, or similar team-based project management software
  • A strong team player with the ability to lead cross-functionally and to drive diverging stakeholders to winning outcomes
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; the ability to clearly share product direction and value propositions with a spectrum of internal and external audiences
  • A self-starter with an eye for detail and a desire to be innovative

Nice to have skills and experiences

  • Undergraduate degree (BA/BS)
  • Experience as a Product Manager working on reporting functions within a B2B SaaS environment
