Assembles and routes various types of printed material. Sorts incoming mail for distribution and dispatches outgoing mail by performing the following duties:

INCOMING MAIL- opens envelopes, stamps date and time of receipt. Sorts mail according to destination and type such as returned letters, donation, bills, orders, and payments.

DATA ENTRY- Readdresses undeliverable mail bearing incomplete or incorrect address. Makes changes to database from the Postal Service reply mail, phone, or email. Processes and maintains standing orders for quarterlies and BA's.

ORDERS/ OUT GOING MAIL- Take orders by mail, phone, or email. Updates database if necessary. Assembles specified number of BA's, tracts, books, or quarterlies for each addressee as indicated by distribution tables or instructions. Places material in envelopes, boxes, or other containers. Stamps, types, or writes addresses on packaged materials. Examines outgoing mail for appearance and seals envelopes by hand or machine. May be required to pickup or take mail.

COMPUTER SKILLS- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of, or be willing to learn, Quickbooks Accounting Software, Microsoft Spreadsheet Software, and Microsoft Word Processing Software.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
