Chubb INA Holdings Inc. is Hiring an IT Business Analyst Near Whitehouse, NJ

Scope/Summary:
The IT Business Analyst & Product Owner role will report into Chubb’s North America Personal Lines IT Team. The
role will work with stakeholders across Business Units and IT to define business solutions that support Personal Lines
business strategies, capabilities, and processes.
This individual will support cross functional projects with multiple stakeholders. Success requires a combination of strong
analytical skills, technical competency, and communication skills.
The successful candidate requires a combination of a process mindset and an orientation for change, as well as strong
analytical and project management skills.
Knowledge of the insurance industry is strongly desired. The ability to expose requirements through detail questions and
propose alternate solutions options is critical.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a point of contact with key stakeholders from IT, Underwriting, Operations, Product applications and Finance
within Chubb NA Personal lines for enhancements, issue identification, escalation, and resolution related to the Personal
Lines policy admin/portals/billing system platforms.
  • This role will assist in the business process design and documentation for new products; enhancements and translate
high level business requirements into functional features for the IT organization.
  • Responsible for Product Owner role working with business stakeholders in Agile project delivery, effectively manage the
product backlog; and manage changes to such specifications in accordance with Chubb and/or industry standards and
processes.
  • Responsible to function and manage requirements gathering and definition in a waterfall environment as Chubb
transitions to Agile.
  • Lead the investigation of issues and engage appropriate support teams (IT, Operational, Vendor) for resolution, and
inform stakeholders of status.
  • Actively participate or lead status meetings, requirements gathering and design sessions, implementation planning
sessions, and effectively multi-task across multiple projects concurrently.
  • Communicate appropriately with many levels, from processors to Operational management. Escalate problems and
questions when needed.
  • Demonstrated experience in working across geographies, cultures and time zones.
Qualifications
Qualifications - External
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field; or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant technical or business work experience. Demonstrate clear understanding of business process disciplines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving
  • Detail-oriented
  • Experience in the insurance industry
  • Experience with personal lines insurance is preferred
  • Strong consultative and client engagement skills; ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to design and model business processes using proven techniques
  • Experience integrating business needs with technology capabilities
  • Experience participating in large-scale change projects with aggressive timelines
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and with teams
