About the role
Chronosphere is seeking a Website Marketing Manager to help build a world-class website experience for chronosphere.io. You have a keen attention to detail, a high sense of user experience, and a knack for storytelling. In addition, you have the technical skills to back it up and are a wiz at Wordpress with a competent knowledge of HTML/CSS. You are data-driven and can take metrics from Google Analytics (GA4) and turn them into compelling and actionable data stories. This is a great opportunity to own a high-profile and high-impact project at a successful and fast-growing startup, and we can’t wait to have you on the team!
In This Role You Will:
Collaborate across executive leadership, product marketing, growth marketing and people operations to build the website roadmap for ongoing and future-looking website projects
Procure and manage a third-party development agency through conception, design, development, QA and deployment
Create KPIs, schedule and processes for website work
Manage web hosting through WP Engine and site development and operations through WordPress
Own analytics and reporting through Google Analytics, summarize and report on website performance in a regular cadence
Implement GA4 as we transition away from Universal Analytics
Ensure website remains secure, functioning and up to date
Be the primary contact for bug and issue remediation
Implement A/B and multivariate testing processes to optimize visitor experience and conversion journey
Maintain brand consistency across the website, landing pages, and linked assets
Stay on the cutting edge of web design, security and functionality
You Must Have:
2-3 years of experience managing a Wordpress instance
A history of managing a project from conception through QA to delivery
A strong knowledge of Google Analytics (preferably GA4 implementation)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Data analysis skills: making data actionable and telling a data story to leadership in a high-profile role
Nice to Have:
A competency in HTML/CSS
Experience in Asana, Click Up, Trello or other project management tools
Integration experience with Wordpress <> Marketo or comparable CRM
What you will achieve
In this role, you will have the opportunity to help Chronosphere develop and build a world-class website in design and experience. You will help us turn our website into a conversion machine, strategizing alongside performance and product marketing to create user journeys that are seamless and a user experience that delights. On the back-end, you will help us ensure our website is secure, up to date and high performing. Utilizing and managing an external development agency, you will develop and execute a clear vision for a website roadmap from conception to design through QA and deployment. This is not a website development role, but a website strategy role, though a competent knowledge of HTML/CSS will help you succeed.
As a member of a very data-driven team, you will own the reporting and analytics to tell a data story around website performance up and out to the broader company. In the first year you will help us fully transition from Universal Analytics to GA4 before UA sunsets in July of 2023.
