Christian Family Solutions is Hiring a Program Therapist Near Milwaukee, WI

Description

Christian Family Solutions is a faith-based, religious organization committed to our mission, healing and helping people in need through the ministry of Jesus Christ. As more and more people seek help with difficult issues, we want to be the counseling resource they turn to for hope, healing, and peace. God has blessed us with an incredible privilege of healing and helping people in need. Click here to view a video about us. You’ll see what a privilege it is to call ourselves “Christian” and to reflect Christian love to everyone we serve.

We are recruiting a Program Therapist to provide services through our STRONG program, which is a National Health Service Corps (NHSC)-approved site. STRONG stands for Successfully Treating and Reaching Our Next Generation. We chose this name because it expresses the values and mission of our program and organization. The STRONG program recognizes the unique value of each child and acknowledges that each child deserves a chance at a successful future. We are actively seeking program therapists who have a strong desire to learn more about integrating Christian counseling practices based on these principles.

This is a full-time role and the applicant selected will be eligible for Christian Family Solutions' full benefits package. This benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, 401(K) plan with employer match, and Paid Time Off (PTO). Hours for this position are generally 7:00am-3:30pm or 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday - Friday.

What you will be doing

Providing Christian based counseling services in person at the Christian Family Solutions STRONG clinic or through a secure video connection during telehealth sessions. Responsible for serving as the parent/family liaison, facilitating psycho-educational groups, process groups, and individual and family therapy for clients admitted into the intensive outpatient program.

Quality mental health delivered with integrity is the first commitment we make to our clients. An additional commitment we make is to offer the option of Christian faith principles integrated with a client’s treatment, as needed and desired by the client. Research has proven that such faith-integrated treatment is effective and has longer lasting impact. It is an approach we are committed to delivering, and we train our staff to provide it. You will work in a unique environment where both your professional skills and your faith can grow.
