Chosen Technology Solutions is Hiring an Infection Control Nurse Near Pueblo, CO
What we are looking for:
- Experienced Infection Control RN/Quality Assurance RN needed
- Assist in directing facility-wide infection control program for the surveillance, prevention, and control of infection and communicable disease by development revision of policies and procedures related to infection control.
- Implementing surveillance activities in collaboration with patient care, microbiology, and pharmacy.
- Schedule and arrange education on a regular basis
- Provides education on infection control issues.
- Do routine Infection Control inspections of the facility. Document findings and notify the department managers and appropriate staff as indicated. Keep a log of the quarterly Infection Control Check lists for each department involved. A summary of the quarterly check lists is reported to the Medical Staff and the Board of Directors
- Qualifications: Knowledge of: State requirements for employees. Understand principles of infection control. Ability to: Organize and present information needed. Licensures/Certifications: Possess license as a Registered Nurse in the state of California. BLS/ CPR certified. Knowledge/Skills: Experience as a registered nurse, supervisor, and educator.
- Shift: Monday-Friday, Days
