India China Institute (ICI) is looking for a highly motivated The New School (TNS) student to work part-time in the capacity of Visual Content Creator and Technical Support. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Administration, the ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently but also is comfortable collaborating with multiple team members, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask.

Both graduate and undergraduate students (including work study) are welcome to apply. The salary for this position is commensurate with experience, with minimum student wages of $15 per hour. This position may have high and low weeks of work.

Responsibilities:

* Maintaining the institute's website (WordPress based), including updating website content and observing site visits;

* Designing event posters;

* Photographing and live video documenting the institute's activities;

* Editing and uploading event videos for public viewing;

* Supporting the institute's social media expansion efforts;

* Other related tasks as needed.

Work Mode:

On-Campus Position - Employees in this position are expected to work mostly on-campus during regularly scheduled work hours. Remote work may be granted occasionally.

Hours Per Week: Maximum 20 hours per week

Hourly Rate: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
