Overview

A Data Analyst II is responsible for analyzing trends and insights in the data, and enabling stakeholders to make data-driven decisions and take action. The Data Analyst II will partner with business and clinical stakeholders across the enterprise. This position is part of the Enterprise Intelligence team.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts data analysis to produce actionable insights
  • Partners with stakeholders to understand business needs and present insights and solutions
  • Partners with Data Engineering (DE) team and Data Architects (DA) to identify new data sources for the Modern Data Platform (MDP)
  • Discovers emerging analytic techniques and applies them to the business

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree 5-7 years experience Background in data analytics and history of using analytics to drive action. Experience presenting insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Expert SQL skills
  • Expert Tableau and/or Power BI skills, both in technical competency and design aptitude
  • Exposure/expertise in using Python or R for data analysis
  • Ability to identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets
  • Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines for the volume of work expected without supervision
  • Ability to produce work that is accurate, neat and adheres to standards
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team or independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a narrative story format with a business mindset 

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is entirely remote or work-from-home. The person hired must live in the Kansas City metro area and may attend on-site meetings, as scheduled.
