We are looking for qualified infant/toddler teachers to guide and assist small children in their early growth and development as they successfully meet the goals and milestones that will ease them into more organized education. You will help to guide and teach the children the important elements they will be encountering as they enter their preschool life. Infant and toddler teachers must possess a great love and patience for small children. You, as their teacher, will need to gain the children's trust as you provide daily routine care, engage them in activities, and guide them through the successful completion of daily lessons. Our goal must be to contribute to the overall physical, cognitive, social and emotional development of each child so they can successfully acclimate to the next level of learning.

Responsibilities: Create a safe, nurturing and educationally rich environment for the children. Implement a variety of educational techniques such as the provided lesson plan, story time, educational play, art, and tummy time for infants. Observe and assess each child to assist them in improving their social competencies and build self-esteem. Encourage social interaction between the children. Provide routine care such as feedings and diaper changes. Provide a safe and nurturing environment at all times. Provide daily information sheets to the parents. Work well with the team and collaborate with other educators. Maintain a classroom environment that is consistent with health and safety standards.

Skills: Proven experience as an infant/toddler caregiver/educator. A basic understanding of the principals of infant/toddler growth and development. Exhibit a familiarity of safety and sanitation standards. Good observation, communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills. And an ability to work as a mediator between children.
