Chief Buildings is currently seeking a Software Engineer to join the Chief team. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining computer applications for Chief Buildings

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain thorough knowledge of the product line and ability to incorporate that knowledge into all systems.
• Possess a general understanding of all software systems.
• Design, develop, and test computer programming projects based on Chief Buildings’ priorities and programmer expertise.
• Provide maintenance on existing applications as needed.
• Document programming code by using comments and meaningful variable and routine names.
• Review existing software and recommend changes when software can be improved.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
• Experience with a variety of software technology is required
• Working knowledge of internet development a plus
