CHICK-FIL-A is Hiring an Administrative Assistant (Part-time) Near Hicksville, NY

Our Administrative Assistant will work alongside Human Resources and our Operations Directors. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness, compliance and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Back Office Management, Organization & File Management:

  • Oversee restaurant email inbox – route to appropriate party/respond as necessary/sort and organize in files
  • Ensure back office computer and office files are organized
  • Ensure back office is organized, stocked and clean (first aid, office supplies, etc.)
  • Maintain vendor files & vendor contact sheet
  • Maintain Tax Exempt File
  • Maintain select store documentation (phone numbers, Safety Data sheets, etc.)

Financials:

  • Accounts Payable and invoicing
  • Reconcile Credit Card
  • Mileage reimbursements
  • Prepare End of Month packet
  • Weekly Payroll
  • 401K Submittal

Other General Responsibilities:

  • Outing/Event planning and support
  • Order Front Counter, Kitchen and office supplies
  • Schedule and coordinate routine facilities maintenance
  • Oversee uniform tracking/ordering/distribution
  • General errands (dry cleaners, post office, UPS/FedEx, etc.)

Job Qualifications:

  • Customer service oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to lift 20-50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Detail orientated
  • Able to multi-task
  • Work well independently and in a team environment
  • Servant spirit with strong sense of stewardship

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required
  • 2 years of administrative assistant experience
  • Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
  • Previous Human Resource/Payroll experience preferred
