Responsibilities Be a key part of an amazing team building cutting edge, customer-facing websites with a focus on lead generation. As a Software Engineer you’ll develop high-quality websites using solid architecture design and engineering best-practices for the software engineering organization. You’ll have a dedicated leader focused on your individual growth and development and will work on a collaborative engineering team with opportunities to share mentoring and coaching. Our primary programming language is PHP, using the Laravel framework. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who can own development and testing for their teams and thrive in a highly collaborative environment. Qualifications Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS and popular associated frameworks preferred (Laravel, Eloquent Queries, Alpine, LiveWire, Bootstrap, ES6) Solid web application troubleshooting experience Experience working with RESTful APIs Experience with Kafka preferred Experience with DevOps, and CI/CD Experience with MySQL Passionate about automated testing and quality assurance (Pest, Dusk, PHPUnit) Education & Years of Experience 3 years of professional experience as a software engineer BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred Additional Knowledge & Skills Able to work independently on assigned tasks within a collaborative team-oriented environment using sound judgment in decision making Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including good technical writing and interpersonal skills Open to being mentored, give/receive constructive criticism Motivated to learn new technologies We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $100,100 -- $242,700 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base commission bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
