High school diploma or GED; two years of experience in general clerical, accounting, or office support; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Knowledge of federal, state and county tax laws preferred. Strong organizational skills, basic PC knowledge and Microsoft Office software experience preferred. Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required.  Prepare, screen, audit, and process various tax forms as well as other related work. Process payments for state income tax. Open office mail; sort, file and distribute mail; perform scanning duties. Answer incoming phone calls; correspond with taxpayers.
