ChesPenn Health Services is Hiring a Director of Operations Near Eddystone, PA

The Director of Operations upholds ChesPenn’s mission by ensuring efficient operations, integrating the goals of the organization with the operational systems, while maximizing the income of the system. The Director of Operations coordinates, supervises, and manages the development and implementation of efficient systems and operations across the organization. The Director of Operations over sees management of all contracts and ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local grant agreements and regulations.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in health/business administration or related field, or five years of relevant management experience in a healthcare setting

Years of Experience: Five years healthcare experience, experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center preferred.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Supports the needs of all departments/health centers in the pursuit of excellence in care for all patients.
  • Facilitates collaborative decision-making processes that integrate all departments
  • Assists in meeting grant obligations; create/supply/reports, when applicable
  • Supervises the Office Managers, Clinical Support Manager and Dental Practice Manager
  • Oversees billing functions
  • Coordinates and ensures adherence to quality standards across the organization to ensure the delivery of high-quality services across all departments
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Assists in the creation, implementation, measurement, and effectiveness of all projects at the health centers
  • Collaborates with the Chief Medical Officer to coordinate and monitor productivity and expectations and assists with developing and implementing action plans, as necessary with department heads and the Clinical Support Manager
  • Coordinates with Human Resources and appropriate staff on resolving conflicts and grievances
  • Attend professional growth activities to remain updated on innovations in information management
  • Coordinate support between third party vendors for program applications and end users
  • Assist with the implementation and training of staff development in the areas of information management and technology
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, Federal, State, and local laws, and regulatory agencies
  • Monitors the sliding fee scale process to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
  • Maintains exemplary customer service throughout ChesPenn and coordinates training as needed
  • Provides administrative oversight of medical, dental, and enabling services
