Interacts and consults with user departments or works in cross functional teams to identify system requirements, develop functional design specifications to meet requirements and solve complex business problems.
Designs, builds, analyzes or revises existing ERP / MRP system workflows.
Performs system patches, updates and upgrades.
Responsible for directing and/or coordinating complex system analysis projects.
Utilizes business intelligence tools to create and maintain reports and dashboarding tools.
Reviews, analyzes, and modifies computer systems including programming, installing, testing, and debugging to support the company’s application systems.
Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify system objectives.
Documents and communicates processes effectively with team members.
Assists in network administration duties when necessary. Includes supporting, monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting hardware and software problems pertaining to all network computer hardware.
Provides end users support for enterprise applications.
Project management.
Manage databases and file systems. Resolves performance and disk space issues.
Monitors server health and performance. Makes adjustments to server volumes and instance configurations as necessary.
Create and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies and procedures.
Tests software solutions to ensure quality and accuracy prior to implementation.
Designs and Implements Server environments to support critical enterprise workloads.
Comply with all Information Services Policies & Procedures.
BS Degree in Information Systems or higher, Computer Science or related field is preferred.
5 years experience in information systems administration and support or related fields.
3 years experience in ERP / MRP systems management, design, implementation and maintenance.
3 years support for enterprise SQL servers, databases, backup and maintenance plans.
3 years management experience with cloud computing architecture, AWS is preferred.
A strong background in Manufacturing with an emphasis in production workflow design.
Strong continuous learner, the right person will move up quickly and take on various responsibilities.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work effectively.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Innovative problem solving, critical thinking, research and analytical skills are a must.
Excellent oral, written communication, math, and interpersonal skills.
Must be self motivated, internally structured and able to work without constant supervision.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Google workspace, Apps Script, Visual Studio, SQL Server, Windows Server, Windows 10 / 11, Chrome OS, Google apps for business, C#, ASP .NET, JS, Python, T-SQL, MySQL or other scripting languages are expected. Expert level skill sets are not a requirement, however it is necessary that the individual displays an eagerness to learn.
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
