SUMMARY

Room inspector will be responsible for inspecting Hotel Guest Rooms in accordance to the standards of the Hard Rock Casino/Hotel Housekeeping Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following (Other duties may be assigned):

• Inspect and approve cleaning of guest rooms, line, and supply storage areas. Have room attendant to correct any problem(s) in guest room(s).
• Prioritize and update status of guest checkouts, pickups, and any discrepancies.
• Update and verify room status on telephone and computer. Complete Housekeeping PM Report at end of each shift.
• Check all cleaning aids and equipment, ensuring compliance with hotel safety and OSHA guidelines.
• Prepare and distribute morning assignment reports, making any changes as they occur during the shift.
• Room Inspector(s) will seek assistance from Supervisor(s) or Manager when needed in resolving issues involving guests, coworkers or guest rooms.
• Provide feedback on staff performance to department supervisors.
• Perform duties of Room Attendants when staff levels are inadequate and/or as needed or requested.
• Assist in response to guest request and/or complaints.
• Provide professional friendly customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor(s) or Manager.
• Participate, but not final authority in department decisions.
• Maintain close working relationship with management and employees.
• Provide professional friendly customer service.
• Show innovation in all aspects of the job.
