Chemours is seeking a Contract Administrator/Fleet Manager to join our growing Operations team! This position will report directly to the Co-Director of Mining, Phil Pombier at our Starke, Florida or Offerman, Georgia locations. The Fleet Manager is responsible for managing all mobile equipment (owned and rental) for the Minerals Business. This includes managing the Sourcing, Maintaining, and budgeting of mobile equipment required to meet the Minerals Business needs. The Contract Administrator (CA) is responsible for managing specific contracts within the site contracting process. The CA is responsible for ensuring that contract administration policies and procedures are followed for the all contracted work activity for of the Minerals Business. The CA responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Contractor prequalification process including variance process Bid package development including site conditions and scope development Managing the bid cycle and contract award process with Sourcing Providing and documenting contractor safety orientation with the EHS professional Auditing contractor training including home office audits Coordination of work in the field including safety audits, JSA audits, and the work permit process Ensures compliance with regulatory and Chemours safety requirements Conducting post job evaluations Ensures timely invoicing by all contracted services to support site cost forecasts Verifying receipt of services; services rendered vs scope of work, invoice reconciliation, and accounts payable resolution including working with accounts payable to resolve invoice issues Assisting with injury management and incident investigations Manages contractors as needed for sourcing, EHS, accounts payable, tax, the project process, and others Maintains metrics for specific contracts and/or projects The Fleet Manager responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Work with Plant Site Managers to understand equipment needs and timing for the equipment. Work Coordinate equipment needs with sourcing to ensure e equipment needs and timing demands are are met for each site. Bid package development, including site conditions and specifications for mobile equipment Supporting the bid cycle and contract award process through Sourcing Ensure programs are in place for maintaining equipment. Ensures timely invoicing by all contracted services to support site cost forecasts Verify receipt of services; services rendered vs scope of work, invoice reconciliation, and accounts payable resolution Manage equipment costs to meet budget for the business to include monthly forecasting of equipment cost. Interface with sourcing, EHS, accounts payable, others concerning mobile equipment Support cost/benefit analysis with regards to rent, buy or lease decision making. The following is required for this role: 5 years’ experience with operations or management of heavy equipment or minimum 2 year degree Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization (leadership, procurement, operations) Ability to manage relationships – supplier to sites and leveraged site resources High School diploma or GED The following is preferred for this role: Knowledge of SAP systems Technical Experience Preferred Experience with managing contractors’ safety Experience with Microsoft Office software (Excel & PowerPoint) Experience with PowerBi 2 years’ proven ability to drive results – managing contractual obligations and timelines Experience in contract management with key service providers to drive value Benefits: Competitive Compensation Comprehensive Benefits Packages 401(k) Match Employee Stock Purchase Program Tuition Reimbursement Commuter Benefits Learning and Development Opportunities Strong Inclusion and Diversity Initiatives Company-paid Volunteer Days WE’RE CHEMOURS.
