The impact you will have As the Senior Business Analyst for North America, leveraging your advanced SAP and business knowledge and skills, you will collaborate closely with your colleagues from the Enterprise Application team to support the governance, implementation and continuous improvement of our SAP Sales & Logistics global template and Apex shipping systems to bring added value to your internal customers with a focus on North America users. In close relationship with your internal customers, you will coordinate the projects and handle support related to the SAP & Apex shipping system. You will organize business reviews with North America stakeholders to ensure a high customer satisfaction and priority alignment. You will be deeply involved in the transition to SAP S/4 HANA and to successfully rollout this new version across our company. You will also identify processes that could be optimized using low code/no code and robotic process automation solutions. You said routine? Although many work activities will be completed in an office-type setting, the responsibilities of the role may include tasks that require lacing up your steel toed boots and going outside to explore the various mining and manufacturing sites. Your onboarding During the first 6 months, you will meet the main IT and business stakeholders, learn about the Lhoist organization, production processes, products, and applications. You will learn how the Lhoist sales and logistics processes have been configured in SAP and how the Apex local shipping system is configured and interfaced with SAP. You will travel across the various North American sites (20-30% travel in the first year) to familiarize yourself with the mining industry, site locations across the United States, and build rapport with business stakeholders (e.g., plant managers, shipping coordinators, …) to understand the business application needs, business requirements, improvement opportunities and organizational goals of Lhoist. Advanced SAP techno functional and integration knowledge and skills – Through your prior work, you understand how to test, analyze, and troubleshoot SAP ERP modules and submodules, interfaces, and integrations to correct or improve performance. You have gained an advanced level of knowledge of the functioning and connections between the sales and distribution/logistics modules. You are skilled in delivering high quality support and modifications to these modules to improve SAP systems. Experience with local shipping system interfaced with SAP is a plus.
