Chel's Closet is Hiring an Employee Benefits Manager Near Hillsborough, NJ

We are seeking a fulltime experienced and knowledgeable benefit manager to provide full service to 500 employees in a healthcare setting.

This integral manager will administer benefits, enhance offerings, and increase employee engagement.

This position can be remote, but you MUST be well versed with New Jersey and/or New York benefit requirements and markets.

Total rewards and compensation management is a plus, but not required.

The Benefits Manager designs and administers each one of these unique benefit packages, while also researching packages provided by competitors.

  • Administers benefits for population of 500 employees
  • Ensures ACA compliance and completes required reporting
  • Handles enrollments, cancellations, employee problems, information requests, etc,
  • Resolves employee questions and problems by interpreting benefit policies and procedures.
  • Recommends benefit programs to management by studying employee requirements, trends, and developments in benefits offered by other organizations.
  • Supports management’s decision-making process by analyzing benefit options and predicting future costs.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing laws and regulations and updates to legal requirements.
  • Communicates and advertises benefit offers to employees and prepares total rewards statements
  • Manage cobra process and reconcile payments
  • Prepares and runs open enrollment
  • Prepares special reports in HRIS by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Optional: Compensation analysis and market pricing
