Role Overview

SummerAnalystswill become integral members of our consulting teams, working on an engagement for the duration of the summer under the direction of and collaborating closely withAssociate Consultants, ConsultantEngagement Managers and Partners.SummerAnalystswill be given their own individual stream of work within the construct of an existing engagement that will approximate the experience of a permanentAnalyst.

Summer Analysts will have the opportunity to align with one of the following practices areas. Applicants selected for interviews will have the opportunity to learn more about each practice area throughout the interview process, and practice alignment will be determined prior to final round interviews.

Responsibilities

• Help define analytic approaches, integratingmultiple analyses, and develop analytic understanding of client problems to identify issues and opportunities to motivate client action
• Gather and refine complex data sets and data sources to enable accurate and robust quantitative analyses
• Help to provide insight into hypotheses under consideration and contribute to team's understanding of client's overall problem and potential solutions
• Support the creation of elegant, multi-issue client communications, present analytic findings and recommendations, and field client questions with minimal support
• Draw upon healthcare knowledge, trends, and experiences to highlight relevant implications for clients.

Qualifications and Desired Skills

• 1-2years relevant analytic experience; should have included complex problem-solving and work planning
• We are currently seeking undergraduatestudentsgraduating in Spring/Summer 2024
• Comfortable manipulating and synthesizing large amounts of data
• Experience working and leading in a team environment where required to manage own work with minimal oversight
• Intellectual curiosity about improving health care delivery
• Intermediate Excel Skills; proficient in using PowerPoint and Word
• Responds well to and enjoys change; works well under pressure
• Succinct communicator who thinks well on feet
• Flexibility to travel as required
• Being based inourChicagoofficeis required for the summer internship period
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and, if hired, present proof of vaccination by start date
