Sustainable Energy Solutions is a Cryogenic Carbon Capture (CCC) branch of Chart Industries. The CCC separates CO2 from plant exhaust and pressurizes it in a single process delivering it as a high-pressure liquid ready for transportation and use. Our retrofit technology can capture up to 99% of carbon dioxide emissions. We produce high-purity, liquid CO2, at the lowest energy and cost in the carbon capture market.

Our Project Managers can be remote, with preference given to candidates that are drivable distance to Orem, Utah.

The Project Manager will be responsible for all stages of the job from initiation of the contract to job close.

The project Manager oversees the engineering, design and fabrication of awarded contractions.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

• With general autonomy, manages large and complex projects.
• Leads the project team and is responsible for the successful completion of the project.
• Works from the proposal phase, through the execution phase, and into the completion phase of the project as the primary point of contact between the client and Sustainable Energy Solutions.
• In the proposal phase, works closely with Sales to evaluate and interpret requirements.
• Plans the project execution, revising the plan as necessary and assuring adherence to the plan.
• In the execution phase, defines precise scope of work and identifies changes between the original proposal and final contractual agreement. Negotiates changes with the client with clear, consistent communication. Solves problems that may occur.
• Possesses a general understanding of domestic and international policies, assures project execution is in accordance with policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company.
• Is responsible for document control and organization, keeping the client and company advised of project status and deadlines.
• Familiarity with first of its kind business development, including startups.
• A general technical background and familiarity with cryogenic equipment such as compressors, heat exchangers, pumps, and PFDs.
• Assures safe project execution to the client’s satisfaction, consistent with cost, schedule and contractual requirements while maintaining bottom line responsibility for financial success. Delivers expected results for financial, HSE, client satisfaction, budget, and schedule performance.
• Interacts positively and professionally with internal and external clients, managing and coordinating in house project personnel by direct supervision.
• Abides by our business ethics.

Your Education Should Be…

• Bachelor’s Degree – preferable in a field of engineering

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

• Project Manager experience in a manufacturing environment, LNG, Cryo, Carbon Capture, Water Technology, Water Treatment, Rotating Equipment or Similar
• Senior Project Manager experience in related projects which includes management experience with process technology development
  • Relevant and demonstrable management experience throughout full project life cycle form conceptual studies to site installation and completion
  • Certification in project management, for example, Project Management Professional or equivalent preferred.
• Experience working with Industry Standard Codes (ASME, B31, AISC, ASTM, AWS, OSHA) and or international equivalents is preferred.
• Familiarly with Cryogenic gas processing including natural gas and hydrogen liquefaction, and separation and rejection facilities is preferred.
