Charlton Heston Academy is Hiring a High School English Teacher Near Saint Helen, MI

Charlton Heston Academy is on the cutting edge of public education offering free public education to all students beginning at 6-weeks-old, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten throuh 12th grade, and in the CHA Early College. The Academy has continued to increases its course offerings, co-curricular and extracurricular activities, which includes a robust Career and Technical Education Center.

Reponsibilities and Expectations: Teachers are responsible for planning and delivering rigorous classroom instruction and for the learning outcomes of their students. Classrooms are expected to be thriving learning environments were students are challenged and nurtured. Teachers are expected to collaborate with their teammates on a daily basis in order to meet students needs. Successful candidates will be passionate about doing whatever it takes for all student to achieve at high levels.

Requirement: Teacher Qualifications: All candidates must have a valid Michigan teaching certificate for the respective position. Equivalent alternative and approved credentials may be considered. Charlton Heston Academy is willing to support the cost of an alternative route to cerification or completion of a teaching certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
