Responsibilities

Job Summary: 

Charlies Produce (CP) is looking for a highly motivated & driven Fleet Mechanic Level 1 to join our winning team.

CP is a fast-paced work environment that requires flexibility to service the needs of our customers & CP team members. This position will be responsible for performing quality repairs on the CP fleet of vehicles. This team member will conduct multi-point inspections, identify maintenance services and repairs. There will be a focus on preventative maintenance, complex diagnosis and repair along with a desire to acquire the knowledge to order part. A specific set of tools is required for this position.

Up To $35 per hour starting pay.

40-hour work week with overtime available depending on workload.

Shop hours are Monday – Friday 6am-4:30pm with rotating Saturdays.

• Identify maintenance and repair needs.
• Have the knowledge to perform complex repairs.
• Other tasks as instructed.

Qualifications

Desired Minimum Qualification: 

The following certifications are a PLUS!

• DOT Inspector Certification
• Air Brake Inspector Certification
• Refrigeration 608 & 609 Certifications.
• CDL A or B.
• Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Supplemental Information
