Additional Compensation Details:

Monday - Friday 8am – 4:30pm

The Role

The Marketing Coordinator is a vital part of our sales and marketing teams. This position assists with administration and communication to support our sales teams and customers in all Divisions. The marketing coordinator stays informed about the market, industry trends, and the competitive landscape, while helping strategize and implement marketing, branding, and advertising plans. Day to day, he or she may create or coordinate content, track results, coordinate social media campaigns, build relationships with sales teams, create promotional content, attend sales meetings, assist with company events and otherwise support all marketing strategies.

Qualified individuals will be able to work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment; self-motivated; flexible; extremely organized; very detail-oriented; confident and diplomatic in dealing with competing departmental objectives and varied personalities; a strong problem solver; able to work well under pressure in order to meet project deadlines; and will have a positive attitude.

Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To

  • Implement short and long-term marketing strategies and advertising campaigns in order to create and increase brand awareness
  • Conceptualize and design social graphics, marketing campaigns, promotional elements, digital communications, print collateral and other initiatives under direction of the Marketing Manager
  • Contribute to the development of a social media strategy and personally execute and implement social media activities through the creation of content and postings across all relevant platforms
  • Regularly measure and report progress of social media, email, and website communications efforts and analytics
  • Update and manage company website(s) with blogs posts and imagery representing the brand and seasonal product
  • Update and manage Charlie’s Produce Online Ordering platform with product photos and occasional ads
  • Provide marketing support to the sales teams, outlying Charlie’s Produce locations and other departments as needed
  • Monitor and maintain printed promotional materials inventory
  • Work with outside vendors to create marketing campaigns; collect funds to build marketing budget
  • Research, analyze and summarize market trends
  • Study competitors market behavior and strategies; and keep up-to-date on industry activities and trends
  • Coordinate and serve as a representative for Charlie’s Produce at company events; farm tours, grower luncheons, trade shows and more

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign and Photoshop), willingness to learn new software solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Detail oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding data entry and analysis
  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms, with a strong emphasis on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Adaptability/Flexibility, with the ability to react quickly to changing requirements from internal and external conditions while maintaining good communication with all parties involved
  • Critical Thinking: Use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Emotional intelligence with the ability to be flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree; with a major in Marketing, Business, Communications, English or Journalism preferred
  • Photography skills preferred
