Additional Compensation Details:

  • $25-$30 per hour Dependent on Experience and Location of Role
  • 90-day performance-based raise

Responsibilities

The Role

Our Facility Technicians perform a variety of tasks to maintain the working structure/condition of our Seattle campus. Our Team of techs are responsible for the building maintenance from plumbing to HVAC, including some light carpentry and machine repair.

Essential Responsibilities Include, and Are Not Limited To:

  • Minor carpentry, welding, finish work and machine maintenance
  • Preform monthly preventative maintenance/inspections
  • Ensure all work areas are clean and safe and follow company GMP’s
  • Troubleshoot minor maintenance problems
  • Maintain and troubleshoot problems in the refrigeration units in the warehouse coolers including cleaning
  • Perform preventative building maintenance duties 
  • Work with external vendors, track vendor progress on repairs
  • Displays initiative in recognizing work to be accomplished and makes recommendations to Facility Manager.
  • Additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least one year of previous building maintenance and facilities experience preferred.
  • Valid driver license
  • Ability to work OT as requested by management to complete special projects
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated warehouse
  • Ability to safely work from ladders and lifts of various heights 
  • Ability to work in the outdoor elements as the job needs arise

Supplemental Information

This employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration and if necessary the Department of Homeland Security with the information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
