Chapman Bell Rd. Hyundai is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our Parts Department team! In this role, you will be responsible for the shipping and receiving of parts orders and maintaining accurate parts inventory. Experience working in a retail or wholesale parts department is preferred. Successful candidates are organized, detail-oriented and thorough.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Unpack and inspect incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with the shipper to rectify damages and shortages
• Verify, tag, store and process warranty parts
• Count, weigh or measure items on incoming and outgoing shipments and verify information against invoices, orders and other records
• Determine shipping methods and prepare items for shipment ensuring that outgoing shipments meet specifications
• Manage parts inventory, maintain appropriate documentation, and assist with inventory cycle counts
• Keep all bins, aisles, and storage areas clean and clearly labeled
• Maintain receiving and shipping records, and returned parts records 
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Ensure the parts counter and retail displays are stocked, clean and orderly
• Pick up parts from outside vendors, and deliver parts as needed

Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

• Previous experience in a retail or wholesale parts department preferred
• Must be able to safely operate heavy machinery such as forklift, pallet jack, etc. (or willing to learn)
• General computer skills required
• Ability to read and comprehend documents such as instructions 
• Strong communication skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
