Champion Window is Hiring a Quality Technician Near Cincinnati, OH

Overview

As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring the daily quality for all Champion Manufactured products and will assist in leading a lean manufacturing environment. Will train on first shift for about a month (maybe less) from 6am-430pm M-TH then move to 2nd shift Monday thru-Thursday 4:15pm-2:45am.

Responsibilities

· Monitor and inspect Champion’s manufactured products for conformance and specifications.

· Perform inspections of vendor supplied materials and products.

· Assist in training new employees on quality checks.

· Perform pre-production and in-production tests of equipment, material, and manufactured products.

· Assist in troubleshooting quality issues.

· Maintain daily audit logs and document non-conformances.

· Effectively communicate with Managers/ Production Supervisors and team members.

· Provide daily reports to the Quality Manager and work in a team environment.

· Additional duties as needed

Qualifications

· Associate degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school or equivalent experience is desired by not mandatory.

· Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus

· 2 years’ experience in QC and manufacturing. Experience in window manufacturing is preferred.

· Must have good written and verbal skills to be able to communicate effectively with all levels of manufacturing, from hourly associates to supervisors/ management.

· Proficient in the use of measuring devices, gauging, and working with close tolerances.

· Able to read and interpret documents such as blueprint, standards, and procedures.

· Detailed oriented and be in good standing with the company (no write-ups and must have excellent attendance and be reliable).

· Proficient in the use Microsoft Office Suite is desired but not mandatory.

· Must be able to work scheduled overtime on a regular basis.

· Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

· Solid attendance record
