We are currently seeking a Project Architect to join our Architectural/Structural Team located in Colonie, NY.

The Project Architect plays an important role on our team and will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating detailed phases of complex projects. A skilled communicator, collaborator and leader, the project architect will serve as a liaison between client and the project teams and will provide mentorship to junior employees. The right individual for this role will have extensive technical knowledge and understanding of principals and best practices as well as an interest in growing as an individual and as part of a team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture required, Master’s degree is preferred.
• Registered Architect license is required
• LEED accreditation is preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience required
• Specific commercial and aviation experience
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills required
• Strong ability to work and lead in a team environment
• Familiar with QA/QC procedures and understands basic business practices and laws related to architecture
• Writing, graphic, and verbal presentation skills are required, as are basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
• Computer graphic skills such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator are required
• Some travel (~25%) will be required
