CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Engineer III to join our Electric Distribution Team in Hartford, CT. We welcome applicants seeking a flexible hybrid work environment allowing for both time at home and in the office.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA’s distribution design engineers have the deep experience and skill set to plan, design, and permit electric distribution infrastructure and all types of utility distribution systems. To realize the dependable, cost-effective interconnection of overhead and underground assets, we visualize, analyze, and optimize how the system functions with itself and outside systems.

At CHA, the Engineer III plays a key role in the design, development, and technical analysis of various electric distribution projects for our clients. This individual will monitor progress and performance to ensure projects are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual, and company requirements. REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering is required
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of related electrical distribution engineering experience is required
  • Proficient in engineering, computational, and modeling software such as Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, IkeGPS etc.
  • GIS experience is a plus
  • Some local travel may be required
