CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Construction Inspector to join our Aviation Planning & Programming Team in Evansville, IN.

This is a full-time seasonal position for roughly 8 months of the year.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA provides aviation master planning and a full complement of related services. We have the capability to provide airport planning, development and programming design, obstruction evaluation, and project cost estimating.

The Construction Inspector plays a key role at our airport construction sites. This individual will prepare reports, review and verify contractor documentation, coordinate construction activities with the client, and assist the Project Manager with client related construction issues when necessary. The right candidate will be an independent self-starter with good communication skills and general knowledge of construction inspection.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma required; Associate degree in Construction Technology/Construction Management or related technical field preferred
  • NICET Level II certification preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Minimum of 5 years of construction inspection or construction observation experience required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred
  • Knowledge of FAA specifications is a plus
  • Extensive travel may be required
