CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Architectural Designer to join our Architectural & Structural Team located in Colonie, NY.

At CHA, the Architectural Designer will independently evaluate, select, and apply standard architectural techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment for minor adaptations and modifications. The Architectural Designer is given clear and specific objectives to perform simple and routine architectural-related tasks assigned at the direction of a supervisor using the standards set by the company, group, and/or client.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required; Master's degree preferred
• Registered Architect license is preferred
• LEED accreditation preferred
• A minimum of 2 years of related Architecture experience required
• AutoCAD and Revit proficiency required
• Desire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist more senior staff
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required
• Some local in-state travel may be required
