The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for supporting the corporate supply chain team by performing a broad range of duties requiring considerable experience, skills, and knowledge of supply chain discipline, operating KPIs and S&OP process. This role will be integral in establishing a supply chain performance management system. Under general supervision, facilitates and conducts analysis of supply chain data to support supply chain teams. Develops, enhances, tests and implements analytical reports to support supply chain processes and required metrics. Utilizes various data sources to assemble, analyze and provide deep business insights from the data. Presents data findings and deep business insights to various levels of management, including direct supervisor and executive leadership. Duties and Responsibilities: Acquires, harmonizes and cleanses data from back-end systems and disparate Excel files for reporting.. Works with supply chain leadership to understand supply chain metrics and create reports to present supply chain performance accordingly. Generates ad hoc reports at the request of supply chain users. Generates reports and/or charts to support regular meetings such as sales and operations planning (S&OP) and business reviews. Defines and articulates supply chain data strategy and needs, in collaboration with the enterprise IT or data groups. Works with enterprise-wide groups, such as IT or Data Management, to define supply chain data governance. Captures data requirements for supply chain analytics solutions. Engages with the analytics team and the IT group to identify integration needs for ongoing data acquisition. Minimum Job Requirements: Education/Certifications: Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a variety of quantitative and non-quantitative disciplines. Preferred: Additional supply chain education, training and/or certification through online courses and/or professional organizations. Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience Functional or operational analyst role (For example: transportation analyst or procurement analyst). Supported implementation and integration of supply chain applications. Data management experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficiency, or willingness to learn, to generate reports with the use of Excel and BI solutions (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Proficiency, or willingness to learn basic supply chain concepts, KPIs and principles. Strong communications skills to understand business user requirements and work with IT/data management to acquire necessary data. Ability to collaborate and work with individuals with business and technical backgrounds and roles. Ability to listen, empathize and communicate with supply chain users' who seek better access to good-quality data in order to make better decisions. Ability to design or deploy protocols for data acquisition, migration and transformation across internal and/or external, structured and unstructured data. Ability to design or deploy supply chain specific data lakes or leverage enterprise data lakes to support supply chain use cases. Working Conditions and Physical Effort: Work in office environment (possess casual attire) Work environment on occasion involves exposure to physical risks, such as working around mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards. Personal protective equipment, as defined by C.H. Guenther and Son, will be provided. Position requires the ability to stand; sit at a desk; walking around office and plant; lifting and carrying packages up to 50 pounds; utilizing fine dexterity; and reaching, kneeling, crawling and twisting to inspect equipment. Also requires the ability to see; hear; and communicate with associates as well as others by utilizing professional etiquette. Position will be exposed to different levels of stress and responsibilities. Position will require a minimum of 25% travel.
