Accounts Receivable

Description

Certified Group has an exciting new opportunity for a detailed and organized Accounts Receivable professional to timely track and compile outstanding receivables, resolve billing issues, and ensure corrective action is taken when necessary. In this key role, you will need a proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, have the ability to prioritize, and be an effective communicator.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for recording daily postings of cash receipts in NetSuite.
• Interact with clients to reconcile invoices/statements with current customers.
• Responsible for accounts receivable for our cosmetics and nutraceutical testing laboratories.
• Complies with month-end function deadlines.
• Maintain the system of record, ensuring accuracy.
• Ensure that customer service is held to the highest standard, maintaining good working relationships.
• Ensure that customer accounts are reconciled and kept up to date with attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with some college required.
• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of cash application experience in NetSuite.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP, debits/credits).
• Attention to detail with effective organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have exemplary customer service skills.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and NetSuite.  Great Plains a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
