A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you play a major role in our operations as you direct and control all functions within the distribution center by managing the workforce. To be successful, you continually monitor operations within the facility to ensure productivity levels are met. Your problem-solving skills are essential. To meet demand requirements, you are the primary trainer and evaluator for equipment operators in the distribution center.

As one of our contacts for our stores, you provide excellent customer service! Stores and vendors reach out to you to resolve issues or ask questions. Ensuring profitability for both our clients and ourselves gives you a great sense of accomplishment!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

• Knowledge of warehouse shipping and receiving duties.
• Knowledge of and skill in using computer software, including MS Word and Excel.
• Skill in operating various office equipment, such as personal computer, calculator, fax and copy machine.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Warehouse Supervisor with 3 years of experience is preferred, but not required. Experience with shipping and receiving would be a plus.
