Cerebral Staffing, LLC is seeking a User Experience (UX) Designer to work for our direct client John Deere. This role is REMOTE

As a User Experience (UX) Designer for the John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG-Urbandale), you will support projects of moderate complexity through the development of User Interaction task flows, wireframes, prototypes through to final production for new products and the resolution of issues with current production products. In addition, you will:Apply knowledge of usability, human factors, and UI processes to create intuitive user experiences and assist in pre and post-development usability testingCreate and maintain project and overall system design artifactsWork with multiple groups across John Deere ISG as a team member or consultant including development teams to ensure that new features are implemented according to specificationDevelop and implement process improvements and enhancementsResearch and apply learnings of highly automated systemsNote: At application, please include a portfolio (website URL or attachment).What Skills You NeedTwo or more years of UX design experienceProficiency with at least two design and rapid-prototyping tools, such as: Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, Balsamiq, InVision, or Figma to create user interfaces 

  • Experience thinking in terms of holistic design, apply strategic thinking and business goals to design work, focus on usability, and understand aesthetic values
  • Experience translating customer needs into design and articulate that design to technical and non-technical team members
  • Experience transitioning easily between multiple projects and aesthetics
  • Experience communicating and presenting designs effectively for various audiences

What Makes You Stand OutA strong portfolio demonstrating ability to prototype and design elegant UX solutions to complex user problemsTwo or more years of experience with Sketch and InVision
Two or more years of experience understanding and applying visual brand guidelines/style guidesTwo or more years of experience influencing stakeholders to drive an intentional design philosophyExperience designing for construction or agriculture in-vehicle interfaces and/or customer-facing displaysExperience with agile development methodologiesEducation (or equivalent work experience)Degree in the following: Bachelor's degree in a Human Factors, Graphic Design, Interaction / Visual Design, or related field discipline or equivalent experience
