Cerebral Staffing, LLC is seeking a Software Developer (Java/AWS/Cloud) to work for our direct client John Deere. In Chicago, IL.
- 5 years of proven experience in the design, development, testing and integration of high complex software solutions in Java8 (ex: Platforms, Applications, API's) leveraging change management
- 3 years of experience with Java web development with Spring and RESTful APIs, Messaging services (Rabbit MQ, Kafka)
- 3 years of understanding of applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints (MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB or other)
- Demonstrated experience in TDD, acceptance test-driven development and emerging design (Mockito, Spring Testing)
- 2 more years of experience with DevOps principles and lean development such as Continuous Integration (e.g. GitHub) and Continuous Delivery (Jenkins, Docker, K8s etc.)
- 2 year of strong understanding of microservice architecture & knowledge of challenges related to building cloud-native apps.

- Working understanding of design patterns and loosely coupled architectures
- Experience in cloud development with platforms like AWS or Azure
