Century Products is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales

Inside Sales/Purchasing Representative

Essential duties and responsibilities:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

1. Enter data for purchase orders into computer.

2. Send purchase orders to vendors and follow-up on deliveries.

3. Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documentation, etc.

4. Handles inbound calls to convert calls to sales.

5. Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.

6. Track stock levels.

7. Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm’s production and delivery schedules.

8. Builds and maintains customer relationships.

9. Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.

10. Assists with Marketing and Advertising.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (BA) from four-year college or university; OR minimum 3-5 years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Emphasis in Global Business is desired. Must be open to continuing educational opportunities. Experience in the directional drilling industry is a definite plus.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents such as purchase orders, requisitions quotations, technical procedures, and various other related documents. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively to vendors and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

Ability to work within Microsoft Office, and all Social Media Platforms, effectively and efficiently.
